Write Light Into the Darkness of Winter: A Free Writing Workshop

It’s cliche to say that all endings are beginnings. And it rarely ever feels that clear or easy when we are living through a dark time.

When we become curious about our experience, we discover far more light than we notice at first.

Write in the company of supportive and wise writers and together we’ll look for light in our dark hours, whether those are the rough patches in our lives or simply how we brace against the darkness of coming winter.

We will follow the trail of our life-changing transitions and discover how beginnings really can be found in endings. Use these insights to embolden the story arc of any writing project.

The Nature of Narrative

A deep dive into core narrative themes that will invigorate any writing project.

Mindful Awareness

Meditation, mindful awareness and creativity exercises to see old stories with new eyes.

Straight-up Writing Craft

Craft tips to help you translate your lived wisdom to the page and a 15-minute Q & A to ask questions about writing and publishing

Hi, I’m Kristin Kaye!

My twenty+ years as an award-winning author, ghostwriter and book coach has spanned coasts and industries—from theater in New York and writing interactive TV pilots in San Francisco during the tech boom to completing an MFA/MA in Creative Nonfiction. I have penned a few books along the way: Iron Maidens: The Celebration of the Most Awesome Female Muscle in the World (Avalon/ Thunder’s Mouth Press), Tree Dreams: A Novel (Spark Press) and a forthcoming book, True Wealth: The 7 Essentials of Aligned Living, written with Matt Ludmer.

But when my life as an author and ghostwriter combined with being a meditation teacher, something really interesting happened. I gained intimate access into our very human stories. This is what I teach in all of my workshops, which I’ve had the privilege to share at schools, colleges and organizations across the U.S. I hope to see you in class! Learn more at Kristin Kaye.
